Construction of a new center for quality surgical and obstetric care
In short: Unichir is building a new center for quality surgical and obstetric care in the Beni region. For this we work together with a number of partners. You can help too!
In the second week of March 2021, the work on Unichir in Beni have really started! The first phase of the works will last approximately 8 months. The local population is also put to work for the construction.
The next phase has not yet been fully funded. All financial support to make the surgical post operational is still badly needed.

Nov 2022 - Works are proceeding very smoothly, outside and inside operation in final stages
October 2022: interior finishing in final stage
June 2022: water tower, OR room, sky view on compound
March 2022 - Sanitary works are being completed and site planting phase 1 with shady and broad-rooted plants and trees finished.
February 2022 - We continue to build on the infrastructure
January 2022 - The specially designed ventilated roof has been placed
